Xbox Series XS: a third next-gen Microsoft console coming?
Two months after the launch of the next-gen Microsoft consoles, it would seem that the American company has something cooking in the pot. According to various rumors, Xbox Series XS would be a new registered trademark. Obviously nothing is known about it, but the web has begun to speculate on the possibility of seeing a third console over the course of this or the next few years.

This curious information was revealed by the American site JUSTIA Trademarks, which however did not specify anything about it. COVID is certainly not helping Microsoft, Xbox Series X and S are still unavailable and as a result we strongly doubt that this is in effect a third console to complement the previous two. However, it remains plausible that the Xbox Series XS brand is a way to prevent other companies from using the aforementioned brand.

In short, the situation is certainly difficult to interpret, to date we only know that the Xbox Series XS brand exists and, despite the certainly not original name, it could easily be anything, even a hypothetical third console. Phil Spencer has recently declared that the two consoles will be mass produced during this year, thus giving the possibility to buy one for all those who have not been able to reserve it in time. Same thing for Sony, but as of today we have no information regarding a specific period, we will consequently have to wait.
