COD Warzone again branded as Pay-to-Win: paid skins make you invisible
It is not a particularly happy period for Call of Duty Warzone, which lately is lending its side to more critical issues than usual. After the numerous balance problems generated by the arrival of the new Call of Duty Black Ops Cold Wa weapons, free-to-play has been beset with accusations of becoming a pay-to-win.

A unleashing them in the first instance was the skin of Roze, judged too dark and difficult to identify by opposing players in certain points of the map. New accusations have arrived in these hours, after the discovery of a serious bug related to the Forest Spirit operator skin, included in a paid bundle of 1,800 COD Points. As accurately demonstrated by streamer Scop3s_, players wearing this skin become completely invisible at a distance of 34 meters, unless there is a crosshair aimed at them. That's not all, though! With a viewfinder with a low magnification power (such as that of assault rifles), it is possible to spot them at a maximum of 55 meters, after which they disappear. With the 4X scopes of sniper rifles, the range extends to 125 meters, a distance beyond which players with the Forest Spirit skin become invisible again.

This serious issue is clearly illustrated in the video below this news. Some players believe that it is currently possible to buy invisibility in COD Warzone for real money, although clearly not something the developers wanted. Of course, below 34 meters it is ineffective, but players who abuse it can safely remain on the edge of the battlefield completely unnoticed, and in the meantime ring out eliminations without being able to be effectively countered. We hope that this problem will be resolved as soon as possible by Raven Software.
