In the days that see the 2021 edition of the Sundance Film Festival take place, Adobe introduces a series of innovations that affect its tools dedicated to video editing, used by most of the film professionals.

Adobe: new software and more inclusive language

In detail, these are the new features brought to Premiere Pro:

timecode support for non-standard framerates (120 fps, 240 fps, VFR etc.); working space and modified gamma curve for all RED files; performance improvements with H.264 / HEVC encoding on Tiger Lake processors; Here is the changelog concerning After Effects:

new lighting correction with Content-Aware Fill; removal of objects even from videos in which there is an important variation in lighting conditions; working space and modified gamma curve for all RED files. There is another news announced by the software house and it is the one concerning the terminology used in its products, in order to promote the use of a more inclusive language.
