Minecraft teaches: new free map explores environmental protection according to Microsoft
Among the best-selling games in the world, Minecraft sees its global success continue unabated among millions of gaming entertainment enthusiasts.

Over the years, the creation of Mojang has been acquired by Microsoft, but has retained its deep multi-platform vocation. Able to address multiple audiences, the cubed universe that encourages the development of the imagination has often become the protagonist of praiseworthy initiatives. From the publication of a huge library against censorship on Minecraft, part of a project by Reporters Without Borders, to multiple educational proposals designed for the school environment.

Now, on the occasion of Microsoft's publication of a new Environmental Sustainability Report, Mojang has decided to make a new free map available. The latter features a "City of Sustainability", in which players can explore the issues related to the green objectives of the Redmond giant. The aspects of environmental protection analyzed in the content are many: sustainable food production; forest management; green housing; alternative energies and much more.

The new map can be downloaded for free from the Minecraft marketpace, within the "Education Collection" section, as well as in Minecraft: Education Edition, together with six lessons that teachers can use to address the environmental issue with their students.
