Corsair, the new NVMe SSDs of the MP600 series reach superlative speeds
In a press release, Corsair announced three new NVMe M.2 SSDs that leverage the PCI Express 4.0 interface: MP600 CORE, MP600 PRO and MP600 PRO Hydro X Edition. The first offers up to 4,950MB / s of sequential read speed and 3,950MB / s of sequential write, while the second and third are able to achieve even higher performance, reaching sequential read and write speeds, respectively, up to at 7.000MB / s and 6.550 MB / s.

MP600 CORE is available with capacities of 1TB, 2TB and 4TB while the MP600 PRO model is currently marketed in 1TB and 2TB versions, but will soon be available also in the variant from 4TB. MP600 PRO Hydro X Edition, on the other hand, offers 2TB of storage space and integrates a CORSAIR Hydro X Series XM2 water block that facilitates installation of the SSD within a customized cooling circuit. The XM2 water block can also be purchased separately and is compatible with several existing M.2 SSDs. Both the MP600 CORE and the more advanced MP600 PRO are equipped with a large aluminum heatsink capable of effectively dissipating heat, thereby reducing the drop in performance in the event of overheating. This system ensures longer device life, as well as consistent performance even under high workloads.

MP600 PRO Hydro X Edition is the first CORSAIR SSD in M.2 format to integrate a Hydro X Series XM2 water block. which allows its installation inside a custom cooling circuit. All products can be checked and updated via Corsair SSD Toolbox proprietary software. MP600 CORE, MP600 PRO Hydro X Edition and XM2 M.2 (2280) are already available on the manufacturer's website and through CORSAIR's network of authorized dealers and distributors around the world, while the MP600 PRO will be on sale shortly.
