Volkswagen vs Tesla: Herbert Diess calls Elon Musk into question

The CEO Herbert Diess did it yesterday by opening his Twitter account and calling into question the competitor, immediately in the first post. In a friendly and joking tone, but without resorting to words, aiming straight at the market shares currently controlled by Tesla.

Hello Twitter! I'm here to give the Volkswagen Group a voice, especially on political issues. And, of course, to get some of your market share, Elon Musk. After all, our ID.3 and e-tron conquered the first markets in Europe. I expect productive comparisons!

VW ID.3 electric cars are mentioned in the speech (in the image below) and Audi e-tron.

Among the experimental initiatives implemented in recent years by Volkswagen, one is linked to the use of the blockchain to monitor the origin of the materials used in batteries to be used specifically for vehicles with electric power.

The blockchain will be able to act as a sort of certification for the origin of materials, ensuring that the procurement methods are sustainable both in environmental terms and in terms of the workforce employed in the countries of origin.
