Since the Switch was released almost four years ago, Nintendo has not held back from porting numerous Wii-U games to the new console. Understandable, since the majority of these are high-quality games that were unjustifiably denied to a wider audience on the flopped Wii U. For example, the Japanese have launched titles like Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker or New Super Mario Bros. U in an expanded version with new content for the Switch.

New trailer for 3D World

On February 12th, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury will join this illustrious ports round on the Switch. And, as the bulky title already reveals, there is also new content in the form of "Bowser's Fury". What is it all about? Nintendo remained silent about this until the end. For the announcement at the beginning of September 2020 as part of Mario Direct (for the Mario anniversary), reference was only made to further information at a later point in time.

Obviously, this later point in time has now come, because Nintendo announced that it would be today A new trailer for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury will appear on Tuesday (January 12, 2021), exactly one month before the game's release. In about two minutes "you can experience Bowser's concentrated anger in a new trailer [...]", wrote Nintendo Germany on the official Twitter account on Tuesday morning. This suggests that what players can expect from the port's new content is finally being revealed, ie what “Bowser's Fury” is all about.
