Jeep Gladiator combines the load capacity of a pick-up, thanks to the long steel body 153 centimeters, and the comfort of a long wheelbase Jeep with double cab, without forgetting the off-road performance; Thanks to the limited slip differential, Command-Trac all-wheel drive, third generation Dana 44 front and rear axles and dedicated off-road tires, the new Gladiator will be perfectly at home on all terrains.
Jeep has chosen the 3.0-liter MultiJet V6 turbodiesel engine as the heart of the new Gladiator, enough to unleash 264 horsepower and 600 Nm of maximum torque, also thanks to the combination with the 8-speed automatic gearbox. Judging by the declared WLTP fuel consumption, this Gladiator will be anything but ecological: expected consumption of about 9.5 liters per 100 km, with CO2 emissions of around 250 grams per kilometer.
The set up will already be rich on the Overland version, with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED light units, hard top and wheel arches in the same color, Keyless Go opening system, leather steering wheel, rear cameras, parking, cruise control, Active Speed Limiter and Hill Descent Assist, in addition to the fourth generation Uconnect infotainment system with 8.4-inch display and Alpine audio system. Moving on to the Launch Edition - which starts at € 72,824 - adds leather interiors and heated front seats, Safety Pack that includes adaptive Cruise Control, front camera, and other safety technologies such as Blind Spot Detection and Full Speed Forward Collision Warning.
Let's close with the colors: the Overland is proposed as a basic version in Sarge Green, but is available in other pastel, metallic or pearl colors. The Launch Edition instead comes in Black, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Billet Silver colors.
