CES 2021: ASUS ZenBook Duo with dual screens
After announcing three gaming laptops, ASUS unveiled new notebooks for content creators and professionals in general at CES 2021 in Las Vegas. These are the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582) and ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482) with ScreenPad Plus secondary display.

ASUS ZenBook Duo, the screen tilts

The new ZenBook Pro Duo 15 and ZenBook Duo 14 are upgrades of previous models. In addition to the hardware innovations, ASUS has also introduced changes to the secondary screen positioned between the main screen and the keyboard. The ScreenPad Plus can now be tilted (9.5 degrees for the Pro Duo and 7 degrees for the Duo), making it easier to read and use the supplied stylus.

The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 has a 15.6-inch OLED touch main screen and a 14.09-inch touch secondary screen, both with Ultra HD resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels). The hardware equipment includes 10th generation Intel Core i7 / i9 processors, up to 32 GB of RAM, SSD up to 1 TB and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 video card with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory.



The ZenBook Duo 14 has a 14-inch main touch screen and a 12.6-inch secondary touch screen, both with full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels). The hardware equipment includes 11th generation Intel Core i5 / i7 processors, up to 32 GB of RAM, SSD up to 1 TB and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 video card with 2 GB of GDDR6 memory.



Both notebooks have specific software installed to take advantage of the ScreenPad Plus, including ASUS Control Panel, a tool that supports the various features of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro and After Effects. ASUS has not communicated availability and prices for the Italian market.
