Destiny 2 down: The sci-fi shooter is temporarily offline today. The developers at Bungie have announced scheduled maintenance work - and are installing the 3.0.1 update. The special feature: At the same time as the patch, the developers are making the online shooter fit for PS5 and Xbox Series X. Players will thus receive a version specially adapted to the new consoles. Destiny 2 runs on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. In Cruicible mode, even 120 fps are possible.

The update is around 70 gigabytes on the new consoles, while the patch should require a download of around 2.5 gigabytes on the other platforms. Bungie has already communicated the schedule for today's maintenance work - along with the times. So it starts at 4 p.m., then the downtime at Destiny 2 begins.
