Minerva wishes to be exactly like Diana Prince, with whom she works at the Smithsonian Institute in the film, but the character achieves so much more than what he expected. At first, his powers manifest themselves in invisible ways. Eventually, she develops a similar strength to Diana's, discovering that her colleague may be more than she appears.
Minerva is ultimately defeated by Wonder Woman in the final climax, after evolving into a female- cheetah that has all the agility, speed and strength of the fastest animal on the planet. Despite her defeat, however, fans may see Minerva again in Wonder Woman 3. Patty Jenkins hinted at this in a Twitter post after a fan asked about the character's future. The director thanked the fan for the question, adding that everyone will have to wait to know how the story will end, along with some winking emojis.

The chance to see Cheetah again, however, causes mixed feelings among fans, as his reception from fans was mixed. Additionally, some of those who have seen the film have compared the Cheetah character on the internet to the ill-fated 2019 film adaptation of Cats, claiming that Minerva's complete transformation into a feline predator is reminiscent of the terrifying effects used in the film-musical.
Barbara Minerva's fate is left open in the finale of Wonder Woman 1984, the door, therefore, is certainly left open for the character's return. Perhaps a renewal of its look could help make it a little more appealing to the general public.
