RDR: Leak speaks of remake for PS5 and Xbox Series X
A user published two screenshots on Twitter that he took on Amazon in the USA. They show the Red Dead Redemption: The Outlaws Collection.

Is RDR coming as a remake with Part 2?

According to the descriptions of the screenshots, Red Dead Redemption: The Outlaws Collection is a collection of Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 that is to be released for PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X. You experience both adventures, with Part 1 supposedly being an extended remake that was inspired by the original. You will play well-known as well as new missions and even meet new characters.

RDR 2 is also to be graphically revised. New features include ray tracing and faster loading times. The Red Dead Redemption: The Outlaws Collection was listed with a release date December 31, 2021 - which is apparently a placeholder. But whether that is really true is another matter. It could of course be a fake. Rockstar Games has not yet announced such a game. But that doesn't mean anything. Amazon may actually have already received information and accidentally put it online too early.

However, it is possible to fake an Amazon product page without any problems. So you shouldn't have too high hopes for now. A release of Red Dead Redemption 2 (buy now € 17.99 / € 56.99) for PS5 and Xbox Series X is obvious, after all, Rockstar Games is also releasing GTA 5 again for the next-gen consoles. Eventually RDR 2 will get some graphical improvements. However, it is not so certain whether we will also receive a remake of RDR 1. However, there were rumors about a remake before and a modder had to stop his remake project for the western epic. We'll have to wait and see if Rockstar Games reacts to this alleged leak.
