Cyberpunk 2077 without peace: CD Projekt at risk from class-action by investors
Despite a widespread green light for refunds for digital and physical copies of Cyberpunk 2077, the CD Projekt RED team continues to find itself at the center of an immense storm that never ceases.

Worrying news comes in particular on the legal front, with the possibility that real class-actions related to the launch of videogame production will take shape. To report the news is The New York Times, which in summarizing the complex debut of Cyberpunk 2077, cites a reflection initiated by "lawyers and investors". The latter would be considering an action against CD Projekt RED for what the law firm - based in Warsaw - defines as potential "false representation for the purpose of obtaining financial advantages".

In parallel, - reports VGC - a second law firm called Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP, this time based in New York, would be taking similar initiatives, inviting investors from the Polish development team to make contacts. In particular, the company would be investigating the basis for a possible initiative linked to the communication of "misleading information to its shareholders and investing public".

Evidently, it is not certain that such research Preliminaries by law firms actually translate into lawsuits against CD Projekt RED, but the atmosphere around the Cyberpunk 2077 "case" certainly remains complex.
