The series will therefore consist of 6 total tankobons and the sixth and last volume is expected on the shelves of Japanese bookstores and comics on February 9, which has already been announced.
Cells at Work! - manga, anime and spin-offs
Cells at Work manga! Work in the Body is published in Italy by Edizioni Star Comics which has published all 5 volumes available so far. Instead, the various spin-off series and the light novel are unreleased.The anime series (the first season plus a special episode) is available for free with subtitles on Yamato Animation, the YouTube channel of Yamato Video. The second season of the anime will start on January 9th along with the spin-off Cells at Work! Black.
Cells at Work! Work in the Body Season 2 is made by David Production. Hirofumi Ogura (Black Butler II, Null &) will be the new director directing both the Second Season and the special episode; Yuuko Kakihara will take care of the scripts. Takahiko Yoshida will return to take care of the character design, Kenichiro Suehiro will compose the music.
