Teams calls soon also on CarPlay
Another round of news coming to Teams. To announce it today is a post that appeared on the official Microsoft blog relating to the service that refers to unpublished features related to voice calls. Some concern an interface optimization dedicated to the functionality and saving of recordings in OneDrive and SharePoint.

The most interesting, however, is perhaps the one that adds support for CarPlay so that you can respond even when you are behind the wheel, in complete safety using the vehicle controls or by switching to Apple's virtual assistant Siri. The introduction of a technology that identifies so-called spam calls, promotional or advertising calls that can cause an unwanted waste of time and the possibility of seeing who is calling even before answering thanks to what the Redmond group calls reverse number look-up.



The transfer from mobile to desktop (and vice versa) will also debut at the beginning of next year in order to respond to a need expressed by users. The rollout of Call Merge, on the other hand, is almost immediate, a function useful for merging the participants of different calls into a single meeting. The Low Data mode will debut at the beginning of 2021, to be activated when you are in the position of having to consume as little data traffic as possible.
