RTX 3000 Mobile coming? Some notebook models have been spotted
As you surely already know, NVIDIA recently launched its new series of RTX 3000 graphics cards, consisting, for the moment, of the RTX 3080, RTX 3070, RTX 3090 and RTX 3060 Ti. However, these are GPUs intended only for the desktop sector, while the Californian company has not yet unbuttoned itself regarding future variants destined for the notebook market.

Apparently, it seems that their debut is closer than we thought. Indeed, Dutch retailer Azerty (as pointed out by @momomo_us) has listed what appear to be the first gaming laptops to take advantage of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 30 (Ampere) series mobile graphics cards. The devices are currently out of stock, but the store estimates a delivery time of over 10 business days, which suggests that Ampere mobile GPUs could be launching very soon, possibly even at CES 2021.

The 15 "and 17" gaming notebooks are manufactured by Gigabyte and more specifically they are part of the Aorus and Aero lines. In addition to taking advantage of the GeForce RTX 30 series mobile graphics cards, the devices also employ the latest 10th generation Intel Comet Lake-H processors. Of course, prices could only be placeholders. The Aero 17, which appears to be the flagship model, is equipped with a Core i9-10980HK processor, 64GB of RAM, two 1TB SSDs and a GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card. This particular setup could cost over € 5,100.

The common denominator with the other models is the Core i7-10870H, which is Intel's fourth fastest Comet Lake-H chip. The Aorus 15G could be the cheapest model of the lot, with a potential price of € 2,026, we are looking at a laptop powered by a Core i7-10870H with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and a GeForce RTX 3060 Max graphics card. -P.

The mobile graphics cards of the GeForce RTX 30 series are in line with their desktop variants, a the GeForce RTX 3060 starts. NVIDIA just launched the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti just a few days ago, so the Ti model might not arrive soon after. Also, it would be odd to see a GeForce mobile variant launched earlier than its desktop counterpart.
