Maserati, a Levante with a special set-up donated to the Red Cross
The Maserati car manufacturer has donated a Levante to the headquarters of the Red Cross in Modena in a unique setting in Italy. A clear example of how the Italian automotive tradition is linked to solidarity, and from this the current health emergency from COVID-19 can only benefit from it.

With the donation of the car used for self-care, the car manufacturer del Tridente therefore gives a great help to the city of Modena, which in the past few hours has already been able to carry out the transport of an urgent test tube destined for the Policlinico di Bari, covering 800 km.

Not by chance therefore the car, in addition to maintaining the performance, elegance, lines and DNA of the Maserati Levante, has a livery that incorporates the colors of the Red Cross. However, there is no shortage of specific equipment specific to a car, with advanced technologies essential to meet all the emergency needs of the CRI.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia has also recently become part of the fleet of Red Cross vehicles. The vehicle is operational at the headquarters of the city of Piacenza and is used for the coronavirus emergency. The vehicle, which will remain the property of the headquarters of the Emilian city of the CRI even after the pandemic, has a 2.2-liter diesel engine capable of developing a power of 190 hp and is combined with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

It is therefore not the first time that a high performance car has been used for the health service. Only a few days ago we talked about a life-saving operation completed thanks to the use of a Lamborghini Huracàn of the State Police. The car made it possible to transport a kidney from a donor, essential for completing a transplant in the exact timing, thanks to the great performance offered by a 610 hp aspirated v10 engine combined with four-wheel drive.
