Lovers of Mini-ITX homes? This card might be for you
Compact gaming systems have become increasingly popular over the past few years. However, surprisingly, NVIDIA has chosen to equip its GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with a cooling system that makes it 242mm long, much longer than a small Mini-ITX case can fit. Fortunately, not all of its partners have followed suit and Asus unveiled one of the industry's first GeForce RTX 3060 Ti cards for Mini-ITX PCs.

Asus Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini is equipped with the GA104 graphics processor from NVIDIA with 4,864 CUDA cores running up to 1,710 MHz. This is coupled to 8GB of GDDR6 memory using a 256-bit interface. The board uses a proprietary PCB that is higher than NVIDIA's design and that uses a single 8-pin power connector instead of the 12-pin one found on the RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition boards. The video outputs of the Dual-RTX3060TI-O8G-Mini include three DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1.

The dual-slot cooling system of the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini is quite typical for Mini-ITX cards: consists of an aluminum heatsink with heat pipe and two axial technology fans that stop spinning when the GPU temperature drops below 55 ° C.

Like the rest of NVIDIA GeForce-based graphics cards RTX 3060 Ti, the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini consumes up to 200W of power, so gamers will need to make sure their PSU can supply enough power.

At the moment, the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini is probably among the best performing Mini-ITX graphics cards on the market. Additionally, GPU manufacturers have historically managed to build 250 Watt Mini-ITX GPUs, so we may soon see something even more powerful.
