Epic Store: New free game available until 5 p.m.
Like every day there is a free game to be picked up in the Epic Games Store. You can still download Ovecraft's Rogue-Lite Darkest Dungeon until 5 p.m.

Explore only moderately lit dungeons

In Darkest Dungeon, you are the heir to a property because your relative has been taken over by madness and took his own life. You soon find out that his mental decline was due to the indescribable horrors that are hiding in the caves and forests around the property. So you put together a group of up to four adventurers and try to master the threat. Each character comes with both positive and negative traits. Your religious crusader can easily mutate into a kleptomaniac. The fights are turn-based and good positioning is necessary in order not to be hopelessly inferior. Depending on the arrangement of your warriors, they can target different enemies. Sometimes not even a single one, for example if your melee has been relegated to last place. When all your brave fighters have fallen and you have no one in reserve, it's game over and start over. If you want to read more about Darkest Dungeon, take a look at our extensive review.

You have until 5pm to add Darkest Dungeon to your library in the Epic Games Store. Then you can play the title as often as you want. In addition to the daily free game, the holiday offers of the Epic Games Store also have a lot to offer.

With Darkest Dungeon, the recent leak of the free games is once again proven. So the next free title will probably be My Time in Portia.
