Bandai Namco and Arc System Works not only kept their word, but they also gave us a surprise during the play-offs of the Japanese national championship. The developers have announced not one, but two new fighters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ, both as part of FighterZ Pass 3.

The next fighters to join the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster are Super Baby 2 and Gogeta Super Saiyan 4, coming from the Dragon Ball GT series. The first represents the second power stage of the Super form that the alien reaches after possessing Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, Bra and Gohan, and absorbing the energy of the earthlings. Gogeta SS4 we meet him instead during the last Dragon Ball GT saga, and others is nothing but the fusion through Metamor's dance between Goku and Vegeta Super Saiyan 4.

The Super Baby 2 DLC will be released next January 15, while that of Gogeta SS4 will be made available later. They represent the fourth and fifth packs of FighterZ Pass 3, and as such can be downloaded at no additional cost by pass holders. They will also be offered for sale individually at a price of 4.99 euros each. The announcement of the two fighters took place via the trailer at the opening of the news, which offers a taste of the combat system of Super Baby 2 and shows us the spectacular entry of Gogeta SS4.

In addition to all that, the developers proudly announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ has surpassed 6 million copies distributed on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, up from 5 million registered in May this year.
