In a very similar way to what also happened in The Witcher 3, during the adventure inside the world of Cyberpunk 2077 you will have to deal with some mission that will require you to show up at a specific time of the day in order to be started.
To be able to move quickly forward in time up to the necessary time, thus avoiding having to wait the necessary time, you can take advantage of a special option available to the player. To do this, press the Touchpad on Playstation 4 or Playstation 5, the View button on Xbox One or Xbox Series X | S, or the I button on PC, to call up the menu for your character. From the screen that appears you will have to select the Skip Time option, present in the lower left part of the screen, near the game time indicator.
Subsequently, you will be given the opportunity to select the time of day to which you want to quickly jump forward: by confirming your choice you will immediately see your choice applied (you will of course have to wait for the game to load). However, remember that there are some limitations to this system: in particular, you will not be able to use the time jump system during fights and during missions, except in cases where this is actually foreseen.
