Sakamoto Days is enriched with the first novel



The pages of issue 46 of Weekly Shonen Jump, available in Japan for purchases and online stores from this week, have revealed that the story of Sakamoto Days (recovered here the first highly recommended volume) is enriched with the publication of the first novel.

The manga written and drawn by Yuto Suzuki (click here for our review and here to find out all about the Shueisha house manga phenomenon), therefore, will be entitled to an unpublished story that will be released in course of the Spring of 2023.

The light novel is released to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the manga series and other projects are waiting to be revealed.

Taro Sakamoto was originally known to be a peerless, unique hitman, no one could get away with it enough to boast respect and legendary status in the world of crime. At some point in his life, however, Sakamoto fell in love and began dating his girlfriend, married her and had children. The new normal life of the legendary hitman had forced him to retire from the underworld. Plus, as if that weren't enough, Sakamoto gained weight and even decided to start a business.
