Silent Hill 2
The announcement of the silent Hill 2 remake has been partially ruined by the various rumors that have been circulating online for some time. Rumors that in the end turned out to be true: the game is in fact in development at Bloober Team (authors, among many games, also of The Medium) and is actually arriving only on PS5 and PC, at least for a year. Now, however, during an interview during the GPW Innovation, the president of the development team Piotr Babeno has announced a pleasant news.
As for the release date, Bloober Team said they have no say whatsoever. At the moment the announcement of the release date and its decision only concerns Konami. This is a very normal process: the Polish development team was only called to work on the game and it is clear that all the marketing side is of exclusive interest to the publisher, who continues to own the rights to the series.
As reported at the beginning of the news, the remake of Silent Hill 2 will be available starting in 2023 and will be an exclusive PlayStation console for at least 12 months. In addition to the game makeover, Konami is working with other partners on several titles in the series, including one set in 1960s Japan.
