The Witcher
It has been known for some time that Season 2 of the popular series The Witcher will be shown on the Netflix streaming service from December 17, 2021. The details of the story of the new episodes have so far only leaked to the public in droplets. The latest revelation from producer and showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich in a short video was all the more interesting.In it, Hissrich revealed that Season 2 of The Witcher will begin with an adaptation of the short story "A Grain of Truth" . Like the main novels, this comes from the author Andrzej Sapkowski and has an interesting story to offer. The original version is all about a father who gets together with his daughter in a place that doesn't seem particularly safe. Above all, a nobleman named Nivellen, who is embodied in the Netflix series by Kristofer Hivju, will play a major role. Most of you should know this as Tormund Giant Death from the Game of Thrones series. The adaptation of the short story will also focus on Ciri and Geralt. Lauren S. Hissrich also stated:

The second season of the Netflix series The Witcher will again comprise a total of eight episodes and introduce both familiar and some new characters. In addition, the actor Henry Cavill has already confirmed that Geralt will be much more talkative this time than in Season 1.

The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf Gets Best Trailer Yet
Ahead of its release later this month, Netflix has launched the newest trailer for The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The animated series focuses on the journey of Vesemir, and this trailer is the biggest and best one yet in terms of getting a proper look at the series.
'Escaping from poverty to become a witcher, Vesemir slays monsters for coin and glory, but when a new menace rises, he must face the demons of his past,' reads a line from the show's description.
Vesemir is voiced by Theo James, who voiced Hector in Netflix's Castlevania series and played the character Four in the Divergent movie series.
Nightmare of the Wolf is one three Witcher Netflix projects in the works. There is also the main series, which returns for Season 2 in December and a live-action prequel called Blood Origin set 1,200 years before the events of the Henry Cavill show.
In other news, Netflix just recently announced that The Witcher Season 2 will begin with an adaptation of the short story, A Grain of Truth, with Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju playing Nivellen.
Outside of the TV series, a new Pokemon Go-style game called The Witcher: Monster Slayer is out now, while The Witcher 3's new PS5 and Xbox Series X|S edition will launch this year.
