No More Heroes 3 has only been available on the Nintendo Switch for a few days, but Goichi Suda certainly isn't resting on its laurels and is already working on several projects, including three new IPs.

This is at least what stated by Suda51 during a live broadcast on IGN Japan's YouTube channel to celebrate the launch of No More Heroes 3, of which the highlights were summarized by Nibel on Twitter. According to this information, Goichi Suda and his Grasshopper studio are working on three brand new intellectual properties, without however offering any clue.

Not only that, Suda51 has confirmed that it is also working on other projects. And perhaps among these there is also Hotel Barcelona, the new horror game made in collaboration with Swery announced in 2019. He also stated that in the future he would like to make a game based on one of the Marvel superheroes, such as Deadpool.

Finally, despite the message published a few days ago it hinted that the No More Heroes series has finally ended with the third chapter, Suda states that Grasshopper could work on a new chapter. However, the IP belongs to Marvelous and it is therefore up to the publisher to decide the future of the series.

In a recent interview with IGN, Goichi Suda, better known as Suda 51, expressed an interest in working with Marvel on a Deadpool game. Suda 51 also mentioned Grasshopper Manufacture already has three unannounced titles in the works.

Suda 51 has now confirmed that the No More Heroes series is over, ending with No More Heroes 3. In a two-hour launch stream with IGN, he answered dozens of questions about the game, the series, what’s next for the development studio Grasshopper Manufacture, and what he’d really like to work on.

The most interesting answer came when Suda 51 was asked what he’d like a chance to work on. He said that “But [in terms of] the kind of things I’d love to do, I’d also love to work with Marvel on a Shatterstar or Deadpool game, something sort of Grasshopper-y like that. Maybe a Quicksilver title of some sorts. So, Marvel, you know”.

Suda 51 also confirmed that Grasshopper Manufacture is working on three new IPs over the next ten years. Whether one of these turns out to be a Marvel title remains to be seen. Deadpool would certainly be a good fit for the type of game the developer is known for. The only mention of such a thing came from Disney VP Sean Shoptaw last year when he mentioned that the company placed great value on reimagining its properties in video games.

Finally, Suda 51 added that he’s still in regular contact with Swery65, the creator of Deadly Premonition. Apparently, the pair are in touch every two or three months regarding a horror project called Hotel Barcelona and have been throughout lockdown.
