Epic Games uses a aggressive marketing strategy trying to grab exclusives at launch on PC, really expensive maneuvers that under the same admission of the employees at the moment are expected to lose. Borderlands 3 at its launch on the Epic Games Store would have generated a spike in revenues in September 2019: we are talking about 34.7 million dollars in the third quarter of fiscal 2019, equal to nearly half of Epic's total earnings in that period, or 72.6 million. Of these 34 million, 14 were totaled in just one day. We do not know the long-term figures of the title, but for this single quarter alone they are truly impressive.
