Back to the Future is about to return in a comic version

The adventures of Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown of the Back to the Future trilogy certainly need no introduction, except for the legendary couple of protagonists of the trilogy of the same name directed by Robert Zemeckis between the '80s and' 90 is about to return in the form of light novels written by Ichiro Oumi and illustrated by Zerogo Iwamoto.

According to what has been made known so far, the first volume will be published in Japan on the 18th next August thanks to Poplar Publshing Co., Ltd under the Poplar Kiminovel label, at a price of 748 yen, or about 6 euros (here the original news). The adaptation is designed for an audience of very young people, even if fans of Back to the Future a little later in the years will not let the work in question escape the world. At the moment it is not clear whether the volumes of the series will also arrive in the rest of the world (including Italy) or if it is an exclusive for the Japanese territory. In any case, it is not the first time that the trilogy directed by Zemeckis decides to embrace the world of manga: already between 2018 and 2019 an adaptation designed by Yūsuke Murata (One-Punch Man) should have seen the light, which unfortunately does not never saw the light.

The three films of the Back to the Future trilogy (here on special offer) have over time become true cult feature films: the story of daredevil high school student Marty McFly (played by Michael J Fox) and scientist Emmett Brown (played by Christopher Lloyd), able to build a DeLorean capable of time travel, has marked one and more generations of children. In any case, Back to the Future has already crossed the boundaries of the big screen, both with an animated series consisting of over 20 episodes and thanks to a videogame adaptation developed by Telltale Games.
