PS5 stock appeared at Asda this morning. The supermarket giant dropped a batch of consoles around 9.30am, selling out within the hour. Missed out? Amazon is rumoured be readying a huge PS5 restock for tomorrow...


Both the PS5 disc and PS5 Digital Edition are due at Amazon UK on Thursday 26th August. The world's largest online retailer is expected to unveil its precious cargo of consoles between 8am and 9.30am.

Sony PlayStation 5 console: View stock at Amazon The PS5 is here and it offers next-gen gaming, 3D audio and an innovative DualSense controller that helps immerse you in the action. The standard PS5 plays 4K Blu-ray discs but there's also the option of the cheaper (disc-less) PS5 Digital Edition.


Amazon isn't the only place to find PS5 stock this week, though.


John Lewis is tipped to drop again tomorrow, 26th August (7 - 8am).


AO is said to be readying a PS5 stock drop for the 26th - 27th August (10am - 1pm). AO often offers stock over the phone, so it could be worth giving them a ring tomorrow or Friday.


Game dropped thousands of PS5 digital and disc consoles last week 19th August and is due more stock in early September. Argos is set to drop again soon but there's no firm dates as yet. The same goes for Smyths Toys.


Meanwhile the new, lighter PS5, developed to help increase stock levels, has sold out in Australia. Sony is said to be planning another revamped PS5 – possibly called the PS5 Pro – for 2022.


With the semiconductor chip shortage expected to last until 2023, tomorrow's Amazon PS5 restock could be your best chance to buy a PlayStation 5 for a while. Check the latest PS5 stock on Amazon.
