Innovation at the service of art

We continue to talk about the A taste of Italian Innovation initiative, which brought the products and technologies of 50 startups selected by the Italian Trade Agency to CES 2023 in Las Vegas; on this page we cover metaverse, augmented and virtual reality companies.

Creecon has created a blockchain-based platform to create and sell original works, authenticated as NFTs. The platform allows you to trade digital collectible items, but also supports access to real experiences.

Fifth Ingenium creates machine learning, IoT, augmented and virtual reality systems; Tinalp is a virtual classroom that simulates the physical interactions between teachers and pupils thanks to augmented reality. The interface allows you to track gestures and hand movements, as well as recognize voices.

Geckoway is developing the VirtualCrab project, which offers innovative museum experiences in mixed reality based on holograms. The visit thus becomes interactive and conveys more information about the works of art and their history.

Sprama Game Labs has developed the Atlas Game System, a technology that combines video games and board games, with a patented augmented reality gameplay composed of multiple elements. The console can be connected to various game maps, surfaces with sensors and trackers with which one can interact, for example from a smartphone.

XRit develops applications that reconstruct multimedia 3D environments. The XRS solution offers a 3D visualization system of building models with centimeter accuracy. The models can be navigated and explored thanks to a virtual reality viewer.
