The new version of the Microsoft Office application optimized for tablets of the iPad line is making its official debut, as a free download from the Apple App Store platform. The Redmond group has thus followed up on what has been done in recent years when the software was made available in editions for Android and iOS (the latter for iPhone).

Inside there are editors to create, open and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, gathered together so as not to force users to additional installations. Among the advanced features offered, the one to save directly in PDF format, to affix your signature to files and for the automatic conversion of images into texts or tables.

The Office app combines Word, Excel and PowerPoint with new features that take advantage of the unique strengths of the device to create a simpler but also more effective Office experience.



It should be noted that despite the debut of the new incarnation of Office optimized for iPad , the single ones dedicated to Word, Excel and PowerPoint continue to be available on the App Store and constantly updated by the Redmond group. As written at the beginning, the download is free, but some of the features are reserved exclusively for those who subscribe to the Microsoft 365 formula.

Recently, the software house has also introduced support for mouse and trackpad in order to exploit the characteristics of the Cupertino tablets, increasingly used by users as a sort of small laptop to stay productive even on the move, are fully and at their best.
