EA Play: Three new titles will be added to the service

EA Play

It is no longer so strange to see all this multitude of subscription services dedicated to the gaming world. Xbox Game Pass is certainly a significant point of reference for many development houses. The Microsoft service in a very short time managed to establish itself on the market in a categorical way. But before Microsoft, Electronic Arts believed in such a future. Its EA Play (initially born as EA Access) was one of the first successful experiments regarding subscription services.

Over time, the EA product has done nothing but grow and expand, offering a quality that is not indifferent to the own users. For those unfamiliar with the Electronic Arts product, you just need to know that EA Play is nothing more than a vast catalog consisting of the most important products of the American house. Games like FIFA, Madden and NHL have always been the protagonists of the service, but for some time EA has decided to expand the catalog with games that are more different from the sports genre.

The EA Play library will soon expand further thanks to the arrival of 3 brand new titles. The games in question are Star Wars: Squadrons, Madden NFL 21 and NHL 21. The first two titles will arrive in the library of the service by the end of March, while NHL 21 will have to wait until April. We also remind you that the entire EA Play catalog will also be usable for free by various Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

While on the one hand we are not at all surprised by the arrival of the new sports titles, on the other hand we are definitely happy for the arrival of Star Wars: Squadrons. The title in question was highly appreciated by the press but unfortunately the sales were not exactly convincing. Precisely for this reason the online community (although still active) has never managed to expand. We'll see if things can change with the arrival of the game in the EA Play catalog.

If you are not yet an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber we suggest you take a look at the following link! If you are interested in buying Star Wars: Squadrons, you will find everything you need here (XBOX | PS4)

The games heading to EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate next month have been revealed, and among them is EA Motive‘s Star Wars Squadrons.

Star Wars Squadrons launched in October last year for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, later releasing on next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

In a four-star review of the game NME wrote: “Star Wars Squadrons is well worth the money for the gameplay alone, especially if you want to get as close as you can to the childhood fantasy of Star Wars space combat.”

Also featured in next month’s bundle include Madden NFL 21, as well as NHL 21 which will be dropping sometime in April. Both Squadrons and Madden NFL 21 will be available on March 2.

EA Play currently sits at $4.99 a month, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs $14.99 a month.

EA Play was added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate last year, allowing Ultimate members access to EA Play’s service with no extra charge, so Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber’s will be able to get their hands on those games as well.
