Revolut introduces stock trading in Italy



Revolut, the well-known global financial application with a huge customer base of over 28 million, recently expanded its trading platform within the European Economic Area (EEA), thanks to the creation of an entity of European trading. This means that the company is now able to offer its clients residing in Italy , Belgium and Germany the possibility of investing in shares listed in the United States, such as Apple , Zoom or Tesla .

The trading platform of Revolut comes with a number of features, including watchlists, trading charts, and up-to-date market news, which allow customers to monitor stock performance in real-time. Additionally, for new investors, Revolut offers a six-lesson course that helps them gain a basic understanding of investing and trading before they start investing their money.



--> Revolut's new European trading entity, Revolut Securities Europe UAB, acquired its Category B securities firm license in 2021 from the Bank of Lithuania and the migration of existing clients to the new trading entity will take place in the coming weeks.

Depending on the plan chosen, customers can make up to 1, 3, 5 or 10 free trades per month, after which a fixed fee is charged on subsequent transactions. In addition, Revolut also charges a USD custody fee of 0.12% per annum of the market value of customer assets.
