Bungo Stray Dogs, the anime adaptation of the manga (published by Planet Manga by us) written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa (which you can find on Amazon), will officially return with a fifth season in July. The confirmation came from the staff themselves, accompanied by the first trailer that introduces us and illustrates what we can expect in the future (via animenewsnetwork ).

--> After the good reception of its fourth season (premiered in Japan on January 4), Bungo Stray Dogs has formalized a handful of new episodes and the intention to continue with this story. The main staff of the new story arc includes: director Takuya Igarashi, script supervisor and series writer Yoji Enokido, character designer and animation director Nobuhiro Arai and animation studio BONES. Main cast members Yūto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima), Mamoru Miyano (Osamu Dazai), Sumire Morohoshi (Kyōka Izumi), Kensho Ono (Ryūnosuke Akutagawa), and Kishō Taniyama (Chūya Nakahara) also return.Bungo Stray Dogs is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, which has tried to air the various seasons prior to the fifth season simultaneously with Japan. The first airing of the series took place in June 2016, the second from October to December 2016, the third in April 2019 (followed by a film, Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, released in Japan in 2018) and a fourth in January/March 2023.

After leaving the orphanage and on the verge of starvation, Atsushi Nakajima meets some men. They are members of the armed agency made up of detectives who are said to be able to solve any incidents and problems, even those that the police and army do not dare to investigate. Atsushi then decides to join them on a mission. In the city of Yokohama there are people who bear the name of great literary masters, and who possess strange powers linked precisely to these names that they carry with them. It is about the beginning of a battle between the mysterious members of the armed agency and the Port Mafia.
