GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, is the card already in OEM hands?

GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

Last September, shortly after NVIDIA's first official presentation of the new range of graphics cards based on the Ampere architecture and initially consisting of the GeForce RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, the well-known manufacturer Lenovo had included in its price list a preassembled equipped with an unknown GeForce RTX 3070 Ti: the Legion T7 34IMZ5. Several months have passed since then and we have not heard of this product again, despite the fact that the Californian company has presented, and launched, other graphics cards, while Lenovo has removed any reference to the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti from its site.

After GameStar, the site that first noticed this, asked the retailer for an explanation, the page was removed and the store confirmed that it was just a bug. Subsequently, NVIDIA declined to comment on the story, stating that it has nothing to declare regarding a product not yet announced.

In any case, also given the previous ones, it is most likely that the company is thinking of launching a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / Super to better cover all the various market segments, although at the moment, unfortunately, serious problems still exist regarding production and distribution of the latest generation graphics cards.

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 gaming desktop, equipped with AMD Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 Super and 16GB of RAM is currently offered at an attractive price on Amazon.
