Diablo 4
There's a very good chance that players will be able to get their hands on Diablo 4 well sooner than expected. The game, currently scheduled for June 6, 2023 (and which you can book on Amazon ), could soon be the protagonist of a first open beta, probably already arriving this month.
There is obviously no certainty in merit, but to give hope to the fans we thought Rod Fergusson, who in Blizzard covers the role of supervisor of the series created in Irvine. A user on Twitter asked Fergusson if there is a plan to launch the open beta of Diablo 4 in February or in the coming months. The answer is quite clear: “Soon. If only we were present at some gaming event this month, where something similar could be announced”, Fergusson's words in response to the user in question.
Fergusson is well aware, however, that an event linked to the world of gaming it's really close. We are talking about the IGN Fan Fest, which will be held from 17 to 18 February 2023. Diablo 4 is also among the games currently on the list for the event. It therefore seems obvious that an announcement could arrive during this occasion. On the other hand, the announcement of another Microsoft-branded event is more difficult: the first Developer_Direct took place on January 25, 2023 and Xbox will now aim for an exclusive event for Starfield, where it will reveal all the contents and the probable release date of its next exclusive. It would therefore not make sense to use that space to promote other games as well and consequently the event organized by IGN appears to be the most probable place for an announcement of this kind.
