For Kevin Feige the Fantastic Four will be fundamental to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania just brought the Marvel Cineamtic Universe into the Multiverse Saga, the heart of the franchise for Phase Five and Phase Six. The new chapter in the adventures of the smallest of the Avengers pitted Scott Lang against Kang the Conqueror, the villain of the franchise  and a figure particularly awaited by fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For some time now, the presence of this villain has aroused the curiosity of fans of the comics of the House of Ideas, who do not forget how the presence of Kang the Conqueror is linked to a well-known family of the comic Marvel Universe, a detail that has led to a statement important from Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige: the Fantastic Four will be a pillar of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As in the comics, for Kevin Feige the Fantastic Four will be fundamental to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

For fans of the comic Marvel Universe, talking about the Fantastic Four means going back to the origins of the Silver Age of Marvel's world. In fact, with the Richards family, the immense Marvel comic universe came to life, which is why for years the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been anxiously awaiting the debut of the formation led by Reed Richards, after the issues related to the rights of the characters were resolved with the purchase of Fox by Disney.

The recent declarations of the Feiges lend support to the fans' hope. After seeing a version of Reed Richards' Multiverse in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, played by John Krasinski, the Fantastic Four's debut film is expected in Phase Six, with production confirmed to begin in 204, with an output forecast for 2025. To give fans a good reason to wait for the debut of Gommolo and his companions in the Marvel Cineamtic Universe, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kevin Feige gave his vision on the importance of the Fantastic Fourth for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, when asked what is the most important film in the franchise for him:

The only one in terms of personal interest and my 23-year history is Fantastic Four. We've talked about mutants and every aspect of the Marvel world, but the Fantastic Four is the foundation of everything that has come in the comics since. There have obviously been movie versions, but they've never been a part of the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that's something that's really exciting for us. People will find out more news soon, we are working to make it a pillar of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in the same way they have been for 60 years.

The presence of Kang the Conqueror as a villain is too strong an attraction for fans of the Fantastic Four, considering the deep bond between this time traveler and the Richards family. How this familiarity will develop within the film franchise.
