Treyarch and Raven Software also have an update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone ready this week. For a few days, players have been given access to the AMP63 - the last weapon that comes into the first-person shooter with Season 3 Reloaded. The pistol can be activated either via an in-game challenge or the Gamma Ray bundle in the store. More weapons will come into play with Season 4, which will be launched in June. As of today, Action Hero Moshpit is available again, which includes both Die Hardpoint and Rambo's Gun Game. The modes are specially designed for the two film heroes John McClane and Rambo, who have been stirring up the battlefields since the start of Season 3 Reloaded.

In addition, from today you will face each other in Blueprint Ammo Gun Game. According to the developers, a completely new variant of Gun Game awaits you here, which comes with the full arsenal of weapon blueprints. A Gunfight Tournament is running until June 10th, in which you shoot your way through random Gunfight maps and bag new rewards. The current week is rounded off by a double XP event. Between June 4th, 7:00 p.m. and June 7th, 7:00 p.m., you'll get double experience points in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (buy now € 61.20 / € 53.99) and Warzone.

How Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombies Mode Could Build Off Season 3's Success

As we wait for the arrival of Call of Duty's Season 4, there's plenty to be excited about for Black Ops Cold War's Zombies if Treyarch can keep building off the momentum of Season 3's Reloaded. Call of Duty's Season 3 has been great for Zombies, especially after the mid-season Reloaded update. Limited-time modes and an Outbreak Easter egg are giving players incentive to log on and slay some undead.

Here are some of the details confirmed for Zombies in Season 4, along with some speculation as to what could be added with future updates.

New Survival Map

The wait for a traditional survival map has been longer than expected. Season 1 added the Firebase Z map in early February, but then Season 2 and 3 focused on Cold War's objective-based Outbreak mode. Of course, Outbreak isn't everyone's cup of tea, and many fans are hungry for a regular map.

Treyarch recently confirmed that Season 4 would bring the next round-based survival map. And while no date has been given, players probably shouldn't expect the map to arrive at the launch of the new season. Treyarch revealed that Outbreak would have two Easter eggs quests to set up the story for the next survival map, so it's likely that Season 4 will kick off with the second Outbreak Easter egg, and the new map might be saved for the mid-season update.

It's long been speculated through leaks that the next standard survival map would be set somewhere in Berlin. Rumors have also suggested that Black Ops 1's Kino Der Toten will be a part of the Berlin map similar to how Nacht Der Untoten was part of Cold War's Die Maschine map. Call of Duty YouTuber and prominent leaker, TheGamingRevolution, recently detailed some upcoming Zombies maps, which include a Berlin survival map, new Onslaught locations, and new Outbreak maps in the Ural Mountains.

All rumors must be taken with a grain of salt, but Berlin does make sense for a new map. Berlin has been mentioned within the ongoing Dark Aether storyline, and Kino Der Toten is a Zombies map set in a German theater. It seems very possible that the theater could have survived throughout the decades for Treyarch to integrate into a larger city map for the Cold War era of Zombies. Kino Der Toten is a fan-favorite map, so this would definitely be great to see return in some capacity. And after such a long wait for this next round-based experience, there's a lot of pressure for this map to really satisfy the playerbase.

New Perks And Weapons

Treyarch previously announced new perks, Wonder Weapons, limited-time modes, and story intel would be coming in future seasons, so it's likely we'll see at least one new perk with Season 4.

The Tombstone perk was added with Firebase Z in Season 1, and there are still three empty spots left on the Perk Machine. Speculation on what future perks could come to Cold War's Zombies include the classic Double Tap perk and fan-favorite Mule Kick. Mule Kick is highly requested for Cold War's Zombies, as the perk's popularity stems from the convenience of carrying a third weapon. However, the Double Tap perk increases the rate of fire for weapons, letting you mow down the hordes a bit faster, so either perk would be a great addition to Cold War's Zombies.

Community speculation is eyeing a Zombies Easter egg on Season 3's multiplayer Diesel map in the form of a Double Tap root beer poster inside the gas station. This subtle nod might be Treyarch teasing the next perk coming to Zombies, but it's worth noting that Double Tap isn't the only Zombies-themed poster. There are also Juggernog and Quick Revive perk cola advertisements, and there's even a movie poster that references Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Zombies mode. This could be just the developers showing a little Zombies love inside of multiplayer.

No Caption Provided

Treyarch's promise of new Wonder Weapons means we'll also likely see something new added with Outbreak's second Easter egg or the next survival map. So far, leaks and datamining suggest the upcoming Wonder Weapon for Season 4 is possibly a barrel attachment called the 'Mega Barrel,' which allows players to gain the different element or ammo types of elite enemies. This is said to include the elemental charge of the Tempest and corrosive blasts of the Megaton.

Challenge Tracker

Treyarch is also working to add a Challenge Tracker feature for the pause screen, which would include the ability to view things like zombies challenges, daily challenges, and operator missions. The developer also revealed plans to show the daily challenges at the start of the match, so players can instantly see what goals they need to work towards. This would be great for those working on lengthy challenges, so you can see how close you are to completion, as well as what challenges you want to focus on after.

More Outbreak Updates

The large-scale objective playstyle of Outbreak isn't for everyone, but I really enjoy this new Zombies experience, and I see even more potential for the mode to grow over future seasons.

Bringing Orda, the boss from Firebase Z, as a world event in Outbreak was a great addition, and I hope we'll see more mini boss fights added. I'd love to see new creatures and maybe some familiar ones like Black Ops 4's Blightfather. If you're just getting started in Outbreak, here's our guide for taking down Orda.

More maps will also be great to add variety to the rounds, and hopefully we can get some new events and objective types. The whimsical nature of Zombies leaves plenty of room for Treyarch to really go wild with Outbreak in these upcoming seasons.

Call of Duty's Season 4 is just two weeks away, and here's what could potentially be coming to Warzone's update. Also, Black Ops Cold War just added a new pistol to unlock on June 1.
