Ghost of Tsushima: Leak Reveals Directors Cut for PS5 and PS4

Ghost of Tsushima

The Entertainment Software Rating Board in the USA has given a rating for a previously unannounced Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut. The game is to be released in stores for PS5 and PS4. It would be the second Director's Cut of a title that has been released for PlayStation in the past few days. The Kojima Productions team also unveiled the Death Stranding: Director's Cut in the run-up to E3.

If the leak is correct, Ghost of Tsushima (buy now) would also offer a real next-gen version for PS5 for the first time To be available. So far, the PS4 title can only be played on the new console via the backwards compatibility with improved frame rate and resolution. The leak does not reveal any details about the Director's Cut. But it may have something to do with the supposed standalone expansion, about which there were already some rumors in the last week.

According to insiders, another extensive story should be on the way. The announcement is then apparently planned as part of a Sony event that should take place in the summer. However, confirmation is still pending here as well. You can read more information about Ghost of Tsushima in our test on the samurai title. The announced Director's Cut of Death Stranding will apparently only be available for the PS5. Here, too, there was an entry in the ESRB's database a few days ago.
