Which games for the various PlayStation consoles were particularly popular as downloads in January of this year? Sony Interactive Entertainment has a detailed answer on the official PlayStation Blog. There you will find the hit lists for the respective platforms - separately for North America and Europe. It does not give any concrete download figures, but that doesn't make the whole thing any less interesting.
Of course we take a closer look at the European rankings. Accordingly, the first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War is number 1 on the PS4, while the long-running GTA 5 is in second place. The third and last place on the podium is occupied by the sandbox game Minecraft. With the PS5 (buy now) we have a slightly different picture: The soccer game FIFA 21 takes first place - followed by the stealth action game Hitman 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War.
