Fortnite: Street Fighter characters are coming!

Fortnite

As Season 5 continues with new content and updates, Fortnite's ever-active dataminers have unearthed the first clues that will lead us to Season 6. In the meantime, we still have the whole final part of the current season to enjoy, with news to know and the inevitable end-of-season event that always manages to surprise us in unexpected ways. In addition to this, it seems that the identity of the next hunter arriving on the battle royale island has already been revealed.

The announcement is not yet official, but as always, Epic Games is anticipated by the usual dataminers ; always careful to find all the next news coming to Fortnite well in advance. According to what is shown by several accounts on Twitter, the next hunter who will debut in the Epic title will be a character taken directly from one of the most iconic fighting games ever: Street Fighter.

The clues that the dataminers are showing us in these hours are obvious. With the discovery of a new portal it seems very clear that the origin of the new hunter is precisely the universe of the Capcom fighting game. The identity of this new character is not yet clear, but according to some dataminers it will be a couple, a male and a female character: Ryu and Chun-Li.

Remember, we'll get a male and female character from Street Fighter!

How to find the FNCS qualifier leaderboard and standings

Like most Competitive Fortnite tournaments, there are multiple ways to check the leaderboard during and after the event. The easiest way to do so is to view it in Fortnite by going to the Competitive tab, selecting the event card and pressing the designated button to view the leaderboard. These stats are likely to be the most accurate compared to other methods.

In the event that doesn't work, you can always check stat websites like Fortnite Tracker during the event as well. Just make sure you're looking at the results page for your region. This leaderboard may take some time to populate, but it might still help you gauge your placement as the action unfolds. That's all there is to know about FNCS qualifier 2.

Fortnite is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Android.
