COD Cold War Outbreak, the new Zombie mode coming
During the month of February, rumors related to the possible debut of an open world Zombie mode in Call of Duty: Cold War quickly intensified.Well, after all it seems that there was indeed some truth in these speculations. To confirm this is a rather peculiar source, namely ... Activision! The videogame giant has in fact mistakenly anticipated the actual existence of the Outbreak mode, with references that made a fleeting appearance on the official Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War website. As you can verify directly at the bottom of this news, the portal has in fact received for a short period a synthetic message that read: "Welcome to Outbreak, a new large-scale Zombie experience".
The communication was only available for about 30 minutes, but the time span proved sufficient to spread screenshots of the sighting online. Interesting element, the message also invited to view a dedicated trailer, which however was not available. It therefore seems legitimate to expect at this point that the publication of the presentation video of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Outbreak may be quite imminent.
According to rumors that have emerged over the last few days , a Zombie mode should also arrive in COD Warzone, among the novelties of Season 2. To find out more, all that remains is to wait for Activision's next move.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's New Zombies Mode, Outbreak, Leaks Online
It appears Black Ops Cold War's Season 2 refresh will include something special for Zombies fans. Call of Duty Tracker spotted a website for a new Zombies experience called 'Outbreak.'
The page has since been removed, but an image from it states, 'Welcome to Outbreak - a new, large-scale Zombies experience.' A soldier with an eye patch is seen in the teaser image, but there are no further details about this person or what Outbreak is all about.
Season 2 for Black Ops Cold War launches on February 25. Whether or not this Outbreak mode--if it is even real--is included at launch or something later in the season remains to be seen. Given that Season 2 is launching so soon, we expect Activision to share more details shortly.
So far, the company has only released the cinematic trailer for Season 2, which takes players into the jungles of Laos on a rescue mission. The trailer also seems to suggest that a new crossbow, other weapons, and at least one new Operator will be coming in Season 2. Presumably a new Battle Pass will be offered in Season 2 as well.
