A difficult Thursday morning for users who have a SIM that connects to the Vodafone network. The operator based in Newbury is not the only one to have problems but also the two virtual operators have. and PosteMobile. What's happening?Is the Vodafone network down? Not really, but there are numerous reports that are reaching DownDetector, a well-known portal that helps users to report widespread malfunctions not only in telecommunications networks but also with regard to some more popular online services such as Gmail or Twitch.
Since 9:20 this morning, users complain of total lack of signal, inability to surf the internet, make calls and send messages. Mainly the areas most affected are those of central Italy, Emilia Romagna and Lombardy but it seems to be expanding to other areas of the Belpaese as well.
It is not clear what caused the disservices of today 2 September, but Vodafone has already recognized the problem and is communicating to its customers that it is working to find the causes and remedy it.
There is little that can be done. Vodafone technicians are already working to solve the problem and we are sure that very soon the telephony network will be restored to its original state. For the moment, all you can do is wait, therefore, and report the problem to the operator via the assistance numbers and their social profiles, on which they are usually very quick to respond.

Update of 02/09/2021 at 15:40 - Vodafone has issued the following statement on the incident: "Vodafone informs that the mobile network service has been restored starting at 12.00. The company, in apologizing to its customers for the inconvenience that has affected some areas of Marche and Umbria, announces that the technicians have intervened promptly to restore the service as soon as possible ".

PosteMobile extends EUR 21/mth home internet offer till September
