Bethesda seems to be opening a new studio dedicated to remasters

Bethesda is undoubtedly one of the most active publishers in the industry, with many of its development teams constantly working on increasingly ambitious projects. Think of The Elder Scrolls VI, Starfield, Contraband, the Indiana Jones production, the upcoming Deathloop which will also be released on PlayStation 5 and Ghostwire Tokyo which, unfortunately, has recently been postponed. These are just examples, but the productions in the works under the Bethesda brand are really many at the moment, and they seem not to stop.

According to a recent rumor, the publisher has recently created a new team of development entirely dedicated to the production of remakes and remasters. The insider who gave the information, SkullziTV, is a youtuber who has been covering the latest Bethesda news for a long time, revealing some details in advance. In a tweet posted on his profile, Skullzi announces the existence of this new team, which takes the name of Artifact Studios, which will be in charge of developing some remakes.

The information is very interesting because so far Bethesda does not has ever really hinted at making high-caliber remakes, at levels of Resident Evil 2 and 3, or Final Fantasy VII Remake, but something seems to have changed. In any case, the publisher has a long history of highly successful games loved by players, which is why it would be very interesting to see remakes of works such as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout: New Vegas or even the historic Quake. br>
Remember: THIS IS A RUMOR. I do not know if this is true. I just heard it from a couple random but unrelated places so makes me wonder if there is something to it.

Having no official confirmation from Bethesda, we obviously have to take this news with a grain of salt. For the moment, neither the publisher nor Microsoft have made any statements on the matter, but it is not excluded that news may also arrive in the coming weeks. As always, we advise you to stay tuned to our pages so as not to miss any updates on the matter.
