Pokémon GO, the Kanto Tour is approaching: dates, ticket price and details
One of the most anticipated and publicized Pokémon GO events of recent times is about to kick off. We are talking about the Pokémon GO: Kanto Tour, to which it will be possible to participate from all over the world by purchasing a ticket.

The Pokémon GO: Kanto Tour will take place from 9:00 to 21:00 on Saturday 20 February , and will be accessible to all those who purchase the dedicated ticket, offered at 11.99 euros (not purchasable with Pokémonete) and already available for purchase in the augmented reality video game app. All 150 Pokémon initially discovered in the Kanto region will appear in the wild, in raids and encounters after research missions. During the event you can lure them with the Aroma or get them with the evolution.

Since the event celebrates the region from which it all began, you will have to choose to participate in the Green Version or the Red Version , with exclusive Pokémon for each of them. As in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, it will be very important to trade with friends participating in another version to capture all 150 original Pokémon. If you can't catch them all during the event, don't worry. You can try your hand at these collection challenges until 7:59 pm on Sunday 28 February 2021, taking advantage of the additional time to swap and evolve Pokémon, fight in raids and meet Pokémon after completing the research missions to finish the collection and redeem the rewards.

During the Pokémon GO: Kanto Tour event, Kanto's 150 Pokémon will be available as Shiny Pokémon and some of them will appear in this version for the first time ever. If you are not lucky enough, don't despair, there will be a chance to meet them even at the end of the event. Also, after completing the special research of the Pokémon GO: Kanto Tour event, you will receive another one exclusively. To complete it, you will have to overcome difficult challenges and demanding tasks, but it will be worth it to discover Shiny Mew.

Niantic has also provided content for those who do not intend to buy a ticket. Free for all Pokémon GO players there will be:

Some Pokémon initially discovered in the Kanto region in the wild and in raids; Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo in legendary raids with exclusive attacks; Event exclusive timed search available to all coaches; Trade range increased to 40km. While waiting for the event, which we remember to be scheduled for Saturday 20 February, you can go hunting for Valentine's Day Pokémon.
