While the Road to E3 2021 has officially started, the Deloitte company publishes a new report that photographs the habits and preferences of video game enthusiasts.

From the results presented with the "Digital Consumer Trend", a general picture emerges that sees the mobile gaming sector as the protagonist of a continuous affirmation in the video game market. According to the data collected, it even refers to how for 61% of users gaming on smartphones has become the main mode of use of the medium. To offer a comparison, the European average in this regard stands at 56%, while in China it increases until it reaches a drastic 90%.



Overall, the mobile gaming market in our country is worth a good 2 billion euros, and has an annual growth rate of 10.6%. Statistics that demonstrate a growing popularity of the phenomenon, with respondents declaring that they are more similar to videogame activity on mobile than that conducted on consoles or other portable devices.



As for other types of preferences, Italians prove to be big fans of single player titles, with 90% of the interviewees saying they prefer them to multiplayer. Over the last 4 months, however, multiplayer productions have been the protagonists of a significant growth in the user range between 18 and 24 years, with a 7% increase in the use of software in the company of friends and relatives.
