Final Fantasy 7 Remake: No announcements at concert

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

The well-known and actually quite reliable leaker Navtra announced a few days ago that we would soon get more information about the future of the Final Fantasy 7 remake. That was supposed to happen during the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Orchestra World Tour, on which game director Motomu Toriyama wanted to appear. But there was no new information.

We're back to the beginning

The talk was that Square Enix would announce the PS5 and PC versions of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and even this one should get additional story content. Some fans also hoped to learn something about Part 2 of the remake. But the concert started and ended without anything new being announced. Navtra explained in advance that his information was a bit older and therefore he did not know whether everything was still correct. Apparently it didn't.

When we will learn more about when the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released for other platforms is not clear. The game was released on April 10, 2020 and should be playable exclusively on the PS4 for one year. This will end this exclusivity shortly. Fans would therefore like to know whether the role-playing game will then also be released for other platforms such as the PC or Xbox One or Xbox Series X / S.

Square Enix will probably announce something about this soon. Whether a PS5 version with more story content will be included cannot yet be said. So again we have to wait and see.
