Diablo 4 between gameplay and progression: Blizzard unveils the redesigned system of Objects

Diablo 4 between gameplay and progression

With the incredible scenes of the Diablo 4 video with the Cutthroat still in our eyes, we re-immerse ourselves in the dark dimension of Sanctuary to explore one of the themes dealt with by Blizzard in the panel held on the sidelines of BlizzCon 2021, namely the redesign of the Objects. >
Based on the information shared by the US videogame giant, in the exploration of the game world, the choice of weapons and equipment to use, and the attributes to evolve, will be even more decisive than what was experienced in the previous chapters of the saga action rolistica.

All types of weapons in Diablo 4 will boast unique intrinsic characteristics that will distinguish them from other equipment. Also for this reason, Blizzard explains that it has dedicated itself to updates on the quality of the items to make some big changes.

Magic items, for example, will have a greater potential power per single attribute, while Rare items can have up to 5 affixes, slightly less powerful. This includes the modification implemented to the Legendary weapons, which will continue to have 4 normal affixes slightly less powerful and 1 affix of higher quality and, in fact, legendary. As for the Unique items, the latter will have predefined affixes that will follow a particular theme, with specific class powers and a characteristic appearance.

Those who venture into the dangerous lands of Diablo 4 will therefore have the opportunity to manage a potentially infinite progression of your character, also thanks to these changes: the wide variety of legendary affixes, for example, will no longer be restricted to a single compartment of the Legendary equipment, thus opening the way for countless customization options.

New Diablo 4 gameplay trailer introduces the Rogue class

And it appears that the leaks were legit. Blizzard has just announced the Rogue class for Diablo 4. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team released a new trailer, featuring both cinematic and gameplay sequences.

Diablo IV will be an always-online game, and will not offer an offline mode. We also don’t know whether Blizzard will allow modders to enable an unofficial offline mode or not.

Diablo 4 will also have cosmetic micro-transactions. Additionally, Blizzard is looking into enabling cross-play support between all platforms.

Diablo 4 will be using a new engine, will allow the camera to zoom out, will have better animations.

Lastly, and according to Activision, Diablo 4 will not release in 2021.
