Assassin's Creed Valhalla makes Ubisoft fly: record for the best quarter ever
Assassin's Creed Valhalla dragged Ubisoft's finances to record the best quarter ever in the company's history, with revenues of over $ 1.2 billion in the quarter ended December 31, 2020.

The new chapter of the famous series had the leading role in all this: although the precise results have not been published, the sales of Assassin's Creed Valhalla seem to have been at the center of these extremely positive data for Ubisoft, a sign of an evident state of health for the series.

On the other hand, it had already been announced that the new chapter with a Viking setting had set the record in terms of revenue at launch compared to the entire Ubisoft series, so the confirmation now comes also for what concerns the results achieved by the entire publisher.

Obviously it was not the only title to contribute to this situation: the release of Watch Dogs: Legion also played a role i important, with both games having had significant roles in the launch of the next gen, being among the best sellers on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, while on Nintendo Switch Just Dance 2021 reiterated the success of the stainless music series. br>
On the other hand, even Immortals: Fenyx Rising seems to have started well, waiting for more precise feedback, with the possibility that it can continue to sell over a good period of time. All this has made the postponements decided for Rainbow Six Quarantine (which will probably have a different name, for obvious reasons) and Far Cry 6 less problematic, pending further information on this.
