HP 14: new model with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 and Windows 11 as standard

HP 14

Among the most interesting HP announcements for the autumn lineup there is also the new HP 14 laptop, an ultraportable that looks to lightness and autonomy thanks to a particular solution. It is in fact part of the first laptops with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7C Gen 2 SoC which includes the option for 4G LTE and is functional to a promised autonomy of 15 hours. All this, thanks to the ARM nature of the processor, with Windows 11 already installed at launch.

The marriage between Windows and ARM was not the easiest, but the arrival of the new version of the Microsoft operating system, entirely designed in 64-bit, it promises a new era of compatibility that includes the possibility of using Android applications as well.

The new HP 14, with Windows 11 as standard, is among the first laptops to mount the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7C Gen 2 As usual, the new HP 14 has been further optimized and has come to sport a ratio of screen and body of the laptop by 84%, probably thanks also to the optimization of the new Qualcomm SoC that HP has also chosen for its Chromebook x2 11, presented in August. But in this case we expect both the 8-core Kryo 468 CPU and the Adreno graphics chip, with support for external displays up to 2560x1440, to be fully exploited, given the greater space inside the chassis.
