The Medium
ESRB databases may have unveiled the PlayStation 5 version of The Medium. The game, developed by Bloober Team, debuted on January 28, 2021, as the first exclusive third party from Microsoft. Psychological horror, in fact, was released on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (as well as Windows 10 PCs) but now it seems that it can also be accommodated on the new Sony home console.Databases for several years now various video game classification bodies (including the ESRB) mistakenly reveal unannounced projects, such as various ports. And this is precisely the case with The Medium. The developers actually never talked about the exclusivity agreements with Microsoft for their psychological horror and the possibility that it was a temporary exclusive was already in the air for some time.
The classification of the ESRB leaves no doubt about it. In case it is confirmed by the developers (at this point it could happen at any time) The Medium will in fact also arrive on PlayStation 5. It remains of course to check the launch period and when there will be the official announcement about it.
It is not the first time that a game for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Windows 10 PC is in a situation such. In addition to The Medium, in fact, it has been rumored for some time now that STALKER 2, the horror-colored first person shooter with role-playing elements can arrive on PlayStation 5. At the moment the GSC Game World game must still debuting on the market but a recent leak has also indicated the arrival on the Sony console after a short period of exclusivity. Obviously news still to be confirmed but knowing the market trend and the agreements between third parties that are less and less focused on total exclusivity, the arrival of games that pass from one console to another cannot be ruled out.

The Medium has been rated for PlayStation 5.
Gematsu spotted The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated The Medium for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series (presumably that means Xbox Series X and S).
Bloober Team's well-received third-person psychological horror game The Medium launched digitally for Xbox Series X and S and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store in January, as well as via Xbox Game Pass.
'Bloober Team goes back to the classics for possibly its best effort yet,' Vikki Blake said in Eurogamer's The Medium review.
Koch Media is down as The Medium's publisher by the ESRB. Koch signed a publishing deal with Bloober Team for physical versions of The Medium and Observer: System Redux in March.
Koch Media is set to hold a livestream as part of Summer Game Fest at 8pm UK time on 11th June.
